Easton Coach Company Awarded Contract by NJ TRANSIT to Operate Access Link Service in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and South Ocean Counties

For Immediate Release – EASTON, Pennsylvania – July 7, 2013 – Today Easton Coach Company commenced service under a new contract with NJ TRANSIT to provide service in Region 3 of the State, which includes Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and South Ocean Counties.

Under the seven year, $26 million arrangement which includes a three-year base contract and four one-year options, Easton Coach Company will operate 30 vehicles and employ over 50 people to provide paratransit service to New Jersey riders under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  In this region, 2,540 people are certified to use Access Link and approximately 190 average weekday passenger trips are provided.
