Easton Coach Company Awarded Multi-Year Contract to Operate Lancaster County, PA Service
For Immediate Release – EASTON, Pennsylvania – April 17, 2008 – Today, Red Rose Transit Authority announced the award of a new contract for shared-ride service to Easton Coach Company.
Under the three year contract commencing on July 1, 2008, Easton Coach will operate the Red Rose Access shared-ride transportation services for the majority of the county. Red Rose Access provides advance reservation shared-ride services to eligible residents of Lancaster County, and currently provides approximately 350,000 annual trips to elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged persons.
The Red Rose Access program will operate approximately 60 vehicles and 90 employees from our Manheim Pike location in Lancaster.

Palmeri, Easton Coach Vice President/General Manager overseeing the Lancaster operation. “Lancaster County offers a strong extension of our service area, which extends from Hunterdon County, NJ through the Lehigh Valley, Carbon, Berks, Dauphin, and Cumberland counties, and now into Lancaster County,” Palmeri continued, “and we look forward to a strong and growing relationship with Red Rose and Lancaster County.”
