Easton Coach Company Expands to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
For Immediate Release – EASTON, Pennsylvania – November 15, 2006 – Today, Easton Coach Company announced initiation of its service in the greater Harrisburg area.
Under a new three year contract with Capital Area Transit (“CAT”), the transit authority serving Cumberland and Dauphin Counties, Easton Coach is providing paratransit services for a portion of the CAT “Share-A-Ride” program with 12 vehicles and approximately 20 employees at our Cameron Street location in Harrisburg. “Share-A-Ride” is a door-to-door service that provides transportation to senior citizens, riders with disabilities and other members of the general public throughout CAT’s service area.

Palmeri, Easton Coach Vice President/General Manager overseeing the Harrisburg operation. “The greater Harrisburg marketplace is a next logical extension of our service area, which extends from Hunterdon County, NJ through the Lehigh Valley, Carbon and Berks Counties, and now Cumberland and Dauphin Counties,” Palmeri continued, “and we look forward to a strong and growing relationship with CAT and this dynamic central Pennsylvania community.”
