Easton Coach Company Awarded Contract To Operate Hazleton, PA Fixed Route And Paratransit Services

For Immediate Release – EASTON, Pennsylvania – May 17, 2016 – Today Easton Coach Company was awarded five year contracts to operate both the fixed route and paratransit transportation services for the City of Hazleton, Pennsylvania.

At its regular meeting, the Hazleton City Council approved Resolution 2016-68 awarding the Contract for Fixed Route Transportation and Maintenance Related Services and ADA Complementary Paratransit and Maintenance Related Services. Under the contract, Easton Coach Company will operate 16 vehicles and employ up to 30 people to provide over 220,000 annual trips and log 450,000 annual miles.
